What does "black-tie optional" mean?
Black-tie optional means formal attire is welcome but not required. Men may wear a suit with a tie; women may choose a long evening gown, a dressy cocktail dress, or elegant separates. Aim for polished, evening-appropriate looks—think luxe fabrics and refined details. If you prefer something less formal, a suit or dressy outfit is perfectly fine.
Are there accommodations available near the venue?
Yes — we’ve reserved a small block of rooms at nearby hotels for guests. Under the Hotel Rooms tab you’ll find a direct link to book within our room block.
Will there be transportation for guests to and from the venue?
Yes—we’ve arranged guest transportation for convenience. A shuttle will run from the Kimpton Saint George Hotel to Casa Loma for a 5:30 p.m. arrival. After the reception there will be two return shuttles to the hotel; exact pickup times and locations will be posted here once finalized.
Can I use the shuttle if I am not staying at the hotel?
The shuttles are reserved for guests staying at the hotel. If you’re not staying there, plenty of rideshare (Uber/Lyft) and taxi options are available nearby.
Is there parking available if I wanted to drive to the venue?
Yes—on-site parking is available at Casa Loma. There is a small fee; we’ve covered the majority of the cost for our guests.
Can I bring my children?
We love your little ones, but to keep the evening comfortable for all guests our ceremony and reception will be adults-only.
Can I bring a plus-one?
If your invitation includes a named plus-one, please do bring them. If your invitation is just in your name, we’re keeping the guest list limited and kindly ask that you attend solo.
